D’Orphée et D’Eurydice, on conte une légende, un enfer de l’amour qui éclaire la vie ; de l’homme, l’humanité de belle mythologie.
Ils étaient près d’un chêne les deux jeunes amoureux, tel tableau de Corot, une forêt merveilleuse, enchantés par le vent et les cyprès heureux.
Eurydice lui dit :
– Homme nous aimerions-nous au-delà du souvenir ?
Orphée lui répondit :
– Je l’écrirais sur ma lyre ma si belle épousée
Mais, en ce jour de serment, la forêt s’assombrit. Et sans pluie diluvienne, alors qu’ils parcouraient
Les bois ensorcelés par un brouillard léger. Eurydice sentit une piqure sur sa jambe ; une morsure de serpent, au galbe du mollet.
Fin de leur amour déjà …….Faut-il le comprendre ?
La voilà toute pâle, cette morte amoureuse et son triste trépas à mille lieux des hommes.
C’est Orphée qui la lie à la forêt profonde, tombe pour son repos, éternelle jeunesse, un collier de fleur entourant sa tête, une couronne nécessaire ; hommage à ce printemps qu’aima Boticelli.
Mais soudain, de grands bruits se firent entendre dans la végétation, une voix venue d’ ailleurs , vents soufflant à l’unisson……..
« Orphée, Orphée, tu …….pourrais la sauver. Prends le passage de l’autre dans la nuit des enfers. Elle est encore là-bas, ta belle damoiselle près d’une vallée sans nom ou d’une étrange colline. »
Orphée suivit la voix, crépitement de broussailles. Et passant sur des terres, mortifères des entrailles, parlant au Dieu Hadès lui-même et chantant son amour, le temps de sa promesse enfermé par un jour.
Hadès si ébloui par sa grâce mortelle, lui dit cadeau du ciel qui raconte les cieux :
-« Jeune homme tu partiras en ramenant ta belle. Elle passera le Cocyte et sera derrière toi. Mais, jusqu’à la sortie de ce monde, tu ne dois te retourner et la regarder, cette morte que tu imagines revenant d’éternité. »
Orphée acquiesça brièvement, partant avec cette femme. Elle le suivait, lui vaillant dans les chemins obscures.
Souriait-il, cette âme et ce corps perdu ? Revenir de ces lieux, est-elle-même personne ?
Après bien des heurts, voilà qu’au bout du temps, une lumière étonnante fit grande apparition comme un brasier vivant.
C’est le monde du dehors pensa vivement Orphée. Et heureux plus que tout, il se retourna d’un coup disant à Eurydice :
-« Nous sommes arrivés ma chère ».
Fatale erreur que Satan inspira. Sitôt changée en pierre ; cette fille disparu. Une ombre sur son sourire, un regard dans les nues.
Et Orphée qui revient le cœur empli de peine.
La première morte aimée n’est pas fille de matière, humaine pour le sort, mais bien statue de pierre le souvenir d’un trésor.
Et on raconte Qu’Orphée, de cet amour perdu, chanta depuis ces jours à la beauté des pierres.
Espérant que son épousée, celle qui ne revint pas. De pierre ainsi parfaite, un jour comme le vent ; délivrée imparfaite, lui souffle en un instant :
-« Homme nous nous aimerons au-delà du souvenir ».
Et c’est depuis ces heurts, qu’un temps parfois pour l’homme est l’enfer de la femme.
